This is my subgroup with the club that went to the Ueno Zoo. It is a pretty special Zoo, since it has a panda. But [rolls eyes] somehow my group missed the panda. I will have to return to see Mr. Panda later. :P
Polar bears!
Really neat looking cranes. I think this guy was a bit mad at all the people gawking at him-- he started strutting around his cage, flapping his giant wings.
Flamingoes! I had never actually seen one live, until here. Really beautiful creatures.
KING PENGUINS!!! Just like from the documentary "The March of the Penguins". It was incredible to see these guys up close!
They are called "pen-gin" in Japanese!!

Is this the zoo with the famous Panda that is so fat it lost its libido? Maybe that's China..
