Typical of the Meiji period, this garden is spectacular. I really enjoyed it, hadn't realized it would be such a good investment of 500yen! It is right inside the Heian Jingu complex.LEFT: they had cool stepping stones (and you know I love stepping stones) in the lilly pond!

BELOW: a spectacular bridge/pagoda... something I had only seen in books!!!
